Technical Analyst (SaaS Systems & Financial Data)Brussels | Permanent Contract (CDI)The RoleAs a Technical Analyst, you will play a key role in the design, integration, and governance of technical solutions within regulatory and financial projects.You will operate at the crossroads of IT architecture, SaaS ecosystems, financial data, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that technical implementations are robust, scalable, and compliant.As part of this role, you will be responsible for:Designing and documenting end-to-end technical solutions involving SaaS platformsAnalyzing and integrating SaaS systems within existing IT landscapesManaging complex data flows, interfaces, and APIs between systemsEnsuring consistency and reliability of financial and profitability calculations across platformsImplementing strong data governance principles (data lineage, traceability, controls, quality frameworks)Supporting regulatory initiatives by ensuring transparency and auditability of financial computationsActing as a technical point of contact between IT teams, finance stakeholders, vendors, and risk departmentsNavigating internal IT approval and architecture validation processes (e.G., within large banking environments such as Belfius)Profile SoughtMaster's degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or FinanceMinimum 5–6 years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Solution Analyst/Designer, or similar roleProven experience working with SaaS environments (integration, configuration, architecture considerations)Strong understanding of system integration patterns (APIs, ETL, data pipelines, middleware)Solid knowledge of financial concepts, including profitability calculations and financial performance metricsExperience in banking or regulated environmentsStrong expertise in data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle managementAbility to translate financial and regulatory requirements into technical specifications and solution designsComfortable working within structured IT governance and validation frameworksA strong appetite for AI engineering/AI projects in general!Fluent in English + French and/or DutchNice to have:Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture frameworksExposure to machine learning environments (ML profiles considered secondary but appreciated)Expectations & Next StepsWe are looking to share highly targeted technical profiles directly with our banking clients, who will coordinate with the relevant stakeholders.Priority will be given to:PAYROLL CONSULTANTTechnical Analysts with strong solution design and integration expertiseProfiles experienced in regulatory and financial data environmentsCandidates capable of operating efficiently within complex IT governance structures
