Responsabilities
• Provide daily support to portfolio managers through monitoring of investment limits, NAV validation, and performance analysis.
• Contribute to portfolio construction activities by supporting rebalancing processes and replicating benchmark risk exposures.
• Manage liquidity through execution and monitoring of money market and repo transactions.
• Prepare and analyse investment data for economic presentations, internal committees, client presentations and strategic discussions.
• Produce forward-looking analyses such as accounting return projections for insurance companies and fee simulations.
• Ensure consistency and quality of investment data across systems used for portfolio management, risk, and reporting.
• Act as a liaison between portfolio management and internal stakeholders (risk, compliance, IT, client servicing).
• Coordinate and contribute to responses to RFPs and client-specific investment requests.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of investment tools (Excel, VBA, PowerBI), including automation of existing analyses.
Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
min 1 to 3 years of experience in an asset management company as portfolio assistant, risk officer or equivalent position.
Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products (fixed income, equities, multi-asset).
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured manner.
Proven ability to coordinate with multiple teams and resolve operational issues across systems and data sources.
Familiarity with ESG and financial data.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to summarise complex data or operational issues clearly.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with portfolio management systems (BBG, Factset) and reporting tools.
Detail-oriented, dependable, and service-minded, with a strong commitment to operational excellence.
Fluent in English as well as Dutch and/or French languages.
Collaborative, flexible, and eager to contribute to process improvement initiatives.
