As an IT Architect, you craft elegant and scalable solutions that deliver tangible business value. You do so by designing robust, secure, and future-proof applications that are fully aligned with IT strategic priorities.
You are part of a vibrant team of 80 dedicated architects, where diversity of thought and expertise fuels innovation. You contribute to shaping the IT landscape by ensuring that all applications are built with scalability, performance, and security in mind — from initial design to deployment.
AND IN DETAIL
1. You will develop comprehensive solution architectures for the Datahub Tribe and the CoE Data Governance.
2. You will work hand-in-hand with the product owners, business analysts, security architects, and senior architects to ensure all requirements are properly translated into an effective technical solution.
3. You will ensure all solutions are aligned with the project-specific needs and the IT strategic goals.
4. You stay abreast of new technologies and patterns to continually improve our solution offering.
5. You build a target vision of your domain as an architect, and ensure the different projects of the portfolio are adequately aligned with that vision.
6. You provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders, ensuring effectiveness of the architecture work and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES
7. You have a solid grasp of system design and IT architecture. This technical expertise allows you to design scalable, reliable and efficient systems.
8. Familiarity with data- and business intelligence-related projects will speed up your onboarding.
9. Through your ability to collaborate and influence all types of stakeholders, you are able to quickly reach agreements that support qualitative and timely delivery of the architecture solutions.
10. Your analytical and listening skills allows you to capture all relevant requirements, strategic priorities in order to deliver first-time-right proposals.
11. Thanks to your proactive problem-solving and critical thinking, you are able to find solutions to the constant design problems and challenges that architects meet (for example, via root cause analysis, evaluation of alternative scenarios, informed decision on architecture trade-offs, and escalation when appropriate)
12. You can express yourself fluently, both orally and in writing, in English (the working language of the team). Proficiency in French and/or Dutch is an asset.
