General information Reference 2025-1162 Job title Payroll Officer Function Central Services - Business Support 2 Roles & Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities To strengthen the Corporate HR Team, a Payroll Officer is recruited. -On a daily basis, responsibility includes collecting time and attendance data, as well as other data required for the monthly payroll cycle, and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure correct data collection. -Execute the payroll cycle accurately and in a timely manner. -Produce the required payroll reports and statistics for relevant stakeholders. -Perform administrative tasks related to social security obligations, accidents at work, insurance and related matters in connection with payroll. -Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information. Use and maintain the payroll application and ensure its accuracy by performing regular controls. -Take care of payroll processing for the expat community in consultation with the tax department. -Follow up on matters related to personnel files to ensure the best possible service is provided to stakeholders (internal employees, managers and directors). -Coordinate processes and procedures, which may include system‑related activities, and complete related analyses to ensure accuracy and completeness. -Review existing processes and/or documentation to ensure appropriate standards and rules are applied, and identify and investigate anomalies, issues or variances that need to be addressed. makeyourmark payroll payrollofficer LI-VD1 Location Zaventem HQ Skills & Qualifications -A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. -A first relevant experience within a payroll department, gained at a large site or company and/or a payroll services provider with diverse and complex payroll structures. -In‑depth knowledge of and experience with payroll systems. -Ability to analyse and improve HR processes. -Strong project management skills. -Fluent in Dutch and English. -Strong attention to detail. -Strong analytical skills, including critical thinking, numerical proficiency, data analysis, creativity and problem‑solving abilities. -Discreet, punctual and precise. -A team‑oriented mindset, self‑driven, enthusiastic and proactive. -Flexible and able to work autonomously.
