Description de l'offre

About TEPPFA Founded in 1991, TEPPFA – The European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association – has grown into the authoritative voice of the plastic pipe solutions industry for building and infrastructure in Europe. From its headquarters in the heart of Brussels’ EU Quarter, TEPPFA brings together manufacturers and national associations that together represent the majority of the European market, including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Norway. TEPPFA’s 14 multinational company members and 13 national associations across Europe represent 350 companies that manufacture plastic pipes and fittings. Collectively, these members employ some 40,000 people and place nearly four million tonnes of plastic pipes and fittings on the market each year.

TEPPFA positions itself as polymer neutral. TEPPFA members’ final products are subdivided into two application groups: aboveground systems for hot and cold water, surface heating and cooling, wastewater discharge and rainwater drainage, and below ground systems for sewers, stormwater and drainage, drinking water and gas supply and cable ducts.

Over more than three decades, TEPPFA has evolved in step with the priorities of Europe. In its early years, the association played a central role in shaping more than 200 voluntary European standards, developing technical research projects, and publishing environmental product declarations. In recent years, TEPPFA has pivoted towards the heart of Europe’s sustainability and water resilience agendas. This transformation reflects a broader mission: to champion the critical role of plastic pipe systems in enabling a circular, resource‑efficient, and climate‑resilient Europe.

Today, TEPPFA’s governance model mirrors this modern ambition. Its four working groups – Standardisation and Certification, Sustainability, Drinking Water Quality, and Water Resilience – bring together senior experts from member companies to turn strategy into action. Working closely with the Executive Committee, the groups drive forward the association’s technical, environmental, and regulatory objectives.

At the operational level, a dedicated Brussels‑based team supports this mission. The current staff includes a General Manager, a Sustainability Manager, a Technical Manager, and an Administration and Communication Officer.

To lead this seasoned team and guide TEPPFA into its next chapter of growth and strategic influence, the association is now seeking a new Director General – an inspiring leader who can navigate both the technical and political dimensions of EU policymaking, represent the collective strength of Europe’s plastic pipe industry, and ensure TEPPFA remains a respected partner in delivering sustainable and resilient infrastructure for the future.
