They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.Key TasksAssist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenanceEnsure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environmentReact to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as neededComplete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipmentCheck BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problemsBuilding walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilitiesProvide fixes to facility and plant faults and defectsConduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance recordsCoordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlinesImplement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an ongoing basis. Maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manualsCoordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel, and techniciansOversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. Must remain current with the latest technology trendsGuide ongoing communication with tenants, clients, owners, facility management team, and vendorsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processeVereistenYOUR PROFILECompleted vocational training in a relevant technical discipline (Electrician / Mechanical / HVAC, etc.) or equivalentInitial working experience in a similar role (Maintenance, Facility Management, etc.) preferrably within Data Centers or other critical environmentsAbility to manage an own team of Technicians including the recruitment, training and managementReliable and solution-oriented personality with a strong eye for quality & service deliveryGood understanding of technical installations and the openess to constantly develop your skills furtherAbility to work shifts that may include weekends and holidaysUnderstanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problemsStrong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindsetProven TeamplayerGood knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Basic math skills.
