Job Description:
As an Associate Director, Technology Product Management (Belgium), you will govern the Belgium Product Management vision and strategy, aligned to the TAA Belgium and European priorities, ensuring all product delivery is part of the broader and long-term strategic plan aimed at achieving revenue and profit targets.
You will be responsible for prioritizing product management activities within the Belgium business, including European assets, and establishing a clear governance model between product management and technology teams.
The Product Management team will focus on understanding the needs of the Tax Advisor/SME market.
Responsibilities include:
* Being a member of the Wolters Kluwer TAA Benelux leadership team
* Formulating strategy for product/services to support business growth
* Collaborating with global regions to leverage assets and align strategies for maximum client benefit
* Developing monetization processes for products and services
* Working with sales and marketing to translate client strategies into measurable, monetizable deliverables
* Managing projects to position products/services in new markets or segments
* Overseeing product release cycles in Belgium, ensuring releases are well-planned and executed on time, within budget, and meet market needs
* Analyzing competitors’ products to identify differentiation opportunities
* Fostering an environment aligned with business strategy, emphasizing innovation, customer relationships, entrepreneurial spirit, and employee engagement
Qualifications and experience:
* Extensive SaaS experience
* Preferred experience in Accountancy or Practice
* Preferred Tax or General Practice experience
* People management experience
* Strong communication skills for articulating ideas across teams
* Ability to work collaboratively across functions
* Proven leadership track record
* Strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
* Negotiation and influencing skills
* Technical understanding with the ability to simplify complex concepts
* Market awareness and adaptability
Educational and language requirements:
* University degree
* Fluent in Dutch and English
* French language skills are desirable
