This role sits at the intersection of mechanical engineering, electronics integration, and precision manufacturing, where small-scale design decisions have a major impact on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.You will be responsible for designing and refining mechanical components and assemblies used in microelectronic devices, packaging, and supporting infrastructure. The work involves tight tolerances, compact form factors, and careful consideration of thermal, structural, and material behaviours at small scales.You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, process engineers, and manufacturing partners to ensure seamless integration between mechanical structures and electronic functionality. A key part of the role is translating complex system requirements into robust, manufacturable designs that can be reliably produced at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical components and assemblies for microelectronics and precision systemsProduce detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications using modern CAD toolsEnsure designs meet tight tolerance, performance, and reliability requirementsWork closely with electrical, process, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integrationSupport prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvementsApply design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principlesConduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholdersMaintain accurate engineering documentation, BOMs, and revision controlRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineExperience in mechanical design within similar high-tech industriesStrong proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, Fusion 360, or equivalent)Solid xjsrcvq understanding of engineering fundamentals including materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processesExperience working with tight tolerances and precision assembliesStrong attention to detail and precision mindsetAnalytical problem-solving abilityClear communication and cross-disciplinary collaborationAbility to manage multiple design tasks and iterate quicklyPractical, hands-on engineering approachThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to or call me on As always, we are open to recommendations, so please feel free to pass this on to other suitable candidates.
