QA / Quality Manager – Strategic Digital Transformation
We are looking for an experienced QA / Quality Manager for a long-term assignment within the FPS Finance, contributing to a major strategic digitization program.
Practical Information
* Start date: March 2026 (no later than April 1, 2026)
* Work mode: 50% remote (in consultation with the client)
* Languages: French or Dutch with a good knowledge of English (Trilingual profile is a strong plus)
Context
Within a strategic digitization program at FPS Finance, you will act as Quality Manager for a specific pillar of the ICT management service. Your mission is to monitor and improve the quality of ICT projects and processes, while actively contributing to the further professionalization of the overall quality policy.
Your Assignment
As Quality Manager, you will:
* Monitor and follow up on quality within an ICT pillar
* Produce quality reports for assigned ICT projects and processes
* Define, track, and evaluate improvement actions
* Contribute to the development and refinement of quality standards
* Advise program management, business partners, and service managers on quality-related topics
️ Project Overview
You will participate in a strategic rewrite program, transforming an existing monolithic application (with external modules) into a microservices architecture.
The application has similarities with:
* Banking systems (payments, invoices, refunds)
* Accounting management systems
You will:
* Work closely with the FIRST 2.0 Program Manager
* Collaborate with priority domains for 2026:
* Accounting management
* Transactions & orders
* Business rules
* Interfaces
* Present quality status and risks during steering committee meetings with the customer
️ Your Responsibilities
Quality & Governance
* Monitor quality of requirement management (from Business Case to User Story)
* Analyze how requirements evolve into full ICT solutions
* Define, monitor, and report quality KPIs at both project and organizational level
Testing & Delivery
* Monitor test strategy in collaboration with the Test Manager
* Analyze test processes and results
* Support go/no-go decisions
* Monitor and classify production incidents
* Proactively identify risks and inconsistencies between development and testing
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
* Perform document reviews (analyses, guidelines, test cases, reports, release notes, etc.)
* Train and guide junior team members in Quality and Agile/Scrum
* Coach ICT teams on complex quality challenges
Required Competencies
Experience
* Minimum 10 years of experience in testing and quality management
Generic Skills
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Experience in complex ICT environments
* Clear and proactive communication with stakeholders
* Strong coaching and knowledge-sharing mindset
Technical Skills
* Solid knowledge of testing methodologies
Understanding of:
* Project management (PRINCE2)
* Risk & change management (ITIL)
Basic knowledge of:
* Application development (Java, microservices, messaging/queues)
* Data structures (DB2, batch processing, schemas, tables)
Experience with:
* JIRA & Confluence (Xray is a plus)
* Dashboards and reporting (progress & budget)
* Code quality tools (SonarQube, SonarLint, Fortify, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of Agile & Scrum

* Proven experience in setting up, managing, or supporting program or PMO structures
