We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer for a 6–12 month freelance assignment in the area of South Gent. You will support engineering projects within a food production environment, with a strong focus on hands-on problem solving, supplier management, and the practical execution of civil, mechanical, and electrical works. AutoCAD is the core engineering tool for this role.
Assess technical situations and design effective engineering solutions
Manage suppliers, timelines, and project budgets
Coordinate and engineer civil, mechanical, and electrical project scopes (and some camera systems)
Proven experience as a Project Engineer in industrial or food production environments
Strong background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering
