As an R&D Project Manager (Applications for the Silicon Techonlogy), you will operate at the intersection of advanced research, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll lead and support the execution of pioneering projects in areas such as next-generation compute architectures, scalable system simulation platforms, lab-on-chip solutions, and AI-driven drug discovery — all grounded in our organization’s deep expertise in semiconductor innovation.
You’ll coordinate internal project teams, manage deliverables and timelines, and serve as a key liaison between technical managers and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of multi-disciplinary research programs. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a knack for turning complex research goals into actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct initial internal assessments for research initiatives, including defining milestones, deliverables, team composition, and resource needs.
* Balance partner objectives with organizational capabilities and priorities, in close collaboration with technical leads.
* Define and implement project management practices, including meeting cadence, documentation, and reporting processes.
* Monitor project performance against timelines, budgets, and deliverables; track progress using dashboards and KPIs.
* Identify and assess project risks or roadblocks, escalating to senior management when appropriate.
* Collaborate across departments to uncover opportunities for improving workflows, resource utilization, and value delivery.
* Lead or contribute to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and R&D project execution.
* Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A master’s degree in science or engineering; significant experience in R&D project management is essential.
* Solid foundation in project management methodologies and change management, applied pragmatically.
* Proven experience with system-level research and technology development.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a drive for efficiency and results.
* Skilled communicator who can tailor messaging to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Comfortable presenting ideas clearly and persuasively; adept at influencing and negotiation.
* Resilient and adaptive, capable of managing ambiguity and setting direction in exploratory environments.
* High level of professionalism and discretion when managing sensitive information.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
