As part of the expansion of our activities in the process industries, we are looking for a junior Project / Process Engineer to join our teams in the Ghent region. You will have the opportunity to work on industrial projects within sectors such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biotech, and heavy industry, supporting our clients in the transformation, optimization, and reliability of their production facilities.
This role is ideal for a young graduate eager to develop strong technical and project‑management skills in a fast‑moving industrial environment.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Project / Process Engineer, you will take part in various engineering activities depending on project needs and client expectations.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting process and project engineering studies (design, calculations, mass & energy balances, equipment sizing…).
* Participating in layout design, P&IDs, process documentation, and technical specifications for equipment or systems.
* Assisting in the follow‑up of suppliers, contractors, and fabrication activities.
* Contributing to project coordination tasks: planning, risk analysis, quality follow‑up, and reporting.
* Participating in site visits, surveys, construction supervision, commissioning preparation, or FAT/SAT activities.
* Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, automation, utilities, quality, HSE…).
As you grow in experience, you will progressively gain autonomy and take on broader responsibilities within projects.
ABOUT YOU:
* Master’s degree in Industrial, Electromechanics, Mechanical or Bioscience Engineering
* Interest in both technical content and project coordination.
* Fluent in Dutch and English (French can be an additional asset for specific projects)
* Available to start in September/October 2026
