Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of Rentals service jobs, equipment, accessories, and continuously seeks new opportunities for introducing products to customers. This position reports to the Team Leader.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Provides customers with repair estimates and Technician "Job Progress" reports.
* Opens job cards and ensures that requisite parts are in stock before dispatching to the Team Leader.
* Completes job cards.
* Updates equipment status report on a daily basis.
* Provides job status updates to the department and customers.
* Maintains the job card and service inputs system in real time, including FTF Rentals & Red-D-Arc monthly consumables.
* Completes Red D Arc quarterly report and all monthly reports.
* Ensures completed job cards and damages are approved, processed and forwarded to The Rental Sales Administrator for invoicing.
* Follows up on any incomplete job cards in the system.
* Addresses customer queries and complaints within the stipulated time frame.
* Places and tracks parts orders with both internal and external parties.
* Follows up on third party repairs / services.
* Maintains the "Tools", "Fuel Usage "and "Equipment Returned" log books.
* Maintains an efficient filing system to permit quick and easy retrieval of documents and information.
* Follows the proper safety policies and practices.
* Conducts follow up checks with Technicians to ensure tasks assigned by Team Leader are completed within the specified time frame.
* Assists with marketing and sales boosting initiatives for the department.
* Demonstrates active adherence to all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, while also promoting HSE awareness.
* Any other duties assigned by Management.
Academic Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of five (5) CXC O ' level passes inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
* Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products
* A MET Certification from a recognized Technical Institute, would be an considered an asset
* A minimum of two (2) years' experience in the relevant field
