Approach People Recruitment is looking for a Junior Bilingual Accountant to join the finance team of a dynamic international company based in Brussels.

Job Overview
As a Junior Accountant for Benelux, you will play a key role in the finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute actively to the financial health and success of operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable/Receivable & Cash Management:
o Manage invoicing, payments, and account reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
o Process expense reports, air travel tickets, and various payments, including customer refunds.
o Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and perform bank reconciliations.
o Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
o Liaise with external agencies for VAT and tax reporting (Netherlands).
* Tax & Social Security Declarations:
o Manage tax and social security declarations.
Qualifications and Skills
* 2 years of experience in accounting.
* Languages:
o English: C1 (required).
o Dutch: B2 minimum.
o French is a plus.
* Personal Attributes:
o Motivated, rigorous, and organized.
o Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities.
* Location: Based in Brussels, with 1 day of travel to Amsterdam every 15 days (expenses covered).
* Remote Work: 2 days per week possible.
