As a Business Development Manager, you will be part of a commercial team that focuses on building and growing customer relationships. This involves identifying prospects, qualifying them, and developing long-term partnerships based on a deep understanding of their industries, needs, and ambitions.
The ideal candidate has a university degree in business administration, supply chain management, or marketing, and preferably 5-10 years of experience in commercial roles within the software industry or as a supply chain consultant.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills in English, who is confident when dealing with complex customer needs and various technology use cases. You should also be able to quickly understand a prospect's challenges and develop a positive business relationship.
A strong team-player with good time management skills and an ability to work independently is essential. Travel may be required, and outstanding social media skills, particularly on LinkedIn, are a plus.
Bonus points if you have knowledge of French and/or German, or experience in one of our core industries: chemicals, life sciences, metals, consumer goods, paper, plastic film, or packaging.
