Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our client's team and contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of algorithmic trading solutions. You will work closely with business teams, traders, and key stakeholders to design high-performance tools that meet both operational and strategic business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trading applications and platforms in Python
- Design, implement, and optimize algorithmic trading strategies
- Contribute to the analysis, modeling, and automation of trading processes
- Collaborate with business teams to gather, analyze, and formalize requirements
- Write functional and technical specifications
- Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of developed solutions
- Participate in testing, deployment, and production support phases
Candidate Profile
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid knowledge of trading environments and algorithmic trading
- Experience developing high-performance and low-latency systems
- Good understanding of financial markets and market data flows
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, version control, etc
Functional Skills
- Ability to understand business needs and user requirements
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements
- Ability to write functional and technical specifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to xphnsxz interact with both business and technical stakeholders
Experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Python development
- Significant experience in trading or financial markets environments
- Prior experience in algorithmic trading is essential
Languages
- Fluent professional English (written and spoken)
- French is a plus
