You will join a Workforce Management team that supports the applications used to plan, steer, and assist technicians working in the field. These systems are business-critical and directly impact daily operations. The core focus of this role is ensuring continuity and stability of existing legacy applications, with a strong emphasis on 2nd and 3rd line support. You act as a senior SAP expert who can independently analyze incidents and defects, propose concrete solutions, or coordinate further resolution with technical colleagues.
In parallel, you will also contribute to an ongoing transformation program aimed at renewing the mobile applications.
What you'll do
* You support and stabilize legacy applications by analyzing functional and technical issues in SAP and ensuring timely resolution.
* You act as a senior 2nd and 3rd line support reference, investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and coordinating fixes with development and technical teams.
* You analyze SAP defects in depth and either provide solutions yourself or escalate and follow up with the appropriate colleagues.
* You work extensively with SAP IS-U and SAP Mobile Asset Management (MAM) in a complex operational environment.
* You collaborate closely with developers, including reviewing and understanding ABAP developments, to ensure functional correctness.
* You support and execute testing activities, validating fixes, enhancements, and changes before release.
* You work with XML and IDOC-based integrations, ensuring correct message flows between systems.
* You actively contribute to an ongoing project that modernizes the mobile application landscape, bringing your functional knowledge into future-ready solutions.
* You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and continuity of operations.
What are we looking for?
* You have
at least 5 years
of experience as a
Functional Analyst
in a complex IT environment.
* You have
at least 5 years
of hands-on experience with
SAP IS-U
.
* You have
at least 5 years
of experience with
SAP developments
, including the ability to understand and work with
ABAP
.
* You have
at least 3
years of experience with
SAP Mobile Asset Management (MAM)
.
* You bring
at least 3
years of experience in
testing activities
, including functional validation.
* You have
at least 3 y
ears of experience in 2nd-line ICT incident support, ideally in operationally critical systems.
* You have
at least 5 years of experience within the Belgian energy sector
.
* You have proven experience working as a functional analyst in a
similar operational and support-heavy environment

* You have hands-on experience with
message exchange using XML and IDOC
.
* You communicate clearly and confidently, and you are able to demonstrate strong communication skills during interviews.
* You are
fluent in Dutch at CEFR level C2
