Our client, a leading player in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a Junior Business Controller to strengthen their Finance team.
This role offers exposure to key financial processes and collaboration across departments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Support monthly closings, cost allocations, and variance analysis
* Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting with key functions (Operations, R&D, Commercial)
* Maintain and update financial dashboards and performance KPIs
* Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and deliver insights to management
* Track and report costs, revenues, and margins on internal and client projects
* Analyze COGS, CAPEX, and overheads for cost control
* Deliver ad hoc financial analyses (e.g., pricing, profitability, scenario modeling)
* Ensure financial data accuracy by working closely with cross-functional teams
* Contribute to ERP enhancements to improve financial operations scalability
Profile
* Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
* 1 to 3 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, audit, or finance — ideally in life sciences
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Sound knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong business acumen
* Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a strong asset
