Our partner is a relatively new player in financial services. To support their current growth and continue building the organization, they are now looking for a talented Medior Accountant. This role is perfectly suited for someone with a few years of experience in general accounting or within an accounting firm. It's a position for someone eager to develop themselves, continue learning (while already having a solid base of knowledge), and who is ambitious for the future. This is a role with responsibility, where you can take ownership of your work, while still having room to ask questions and collaborate with the finance team to help move the company forward.
Medior Accountant | Your Role
This is a role with many different facets. A brief overview:
* Assisting with the booking of daily supplier and customer accounting for various entities within the company
* Following up on customer payments and checking all related documentation
* Assisting with monthly and annual closings and audits
* Monitoring the balance sheets and profit and loss statements of the various entities
* Supporting the Senior Accountant with general accounting tasks
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Medior Accountant | Your Profile
The ideal candidate:
* Has between 1 and 3 years of experience in general accounting
* Speaks Dutch fluently; knowledge of French is a plus
* Holds a bachelor's degree in accounting or has an equivalent level through experience
