To support our continued growth, we are looking for an AP Accountant Officer to manage the supplier cycle, prepare SEPA payments, and contribute to short‑term cash management. Role Purpose The Accounts Payable Accountant Officer owns the end‑to‑end supplier cycle, ensures accurate and timely payment preparation, and supports short‑term liquidity management. This role works closely with the Head of Finance to maintain strong financial controls, reliable cash forecasting, and accurate AP administration. Responsibilities Procure-to-Pay (Accounts Payable) Verify supplier invoices for compliance (legal mentions, VAT, IBAN, pricing accuracy). Administer Purchase Orders (POs): Encode approved POs from the R&D Manager. Collect Goods Receipt Notes / delivery notes (GRNs/BL). Perform 3‑way matching (PO – Delivery Note – Invoice). Ensure timely and accurate posting of supplier invoices in Odoo. Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams. Payments Prepare SEPA payment batches. Verify payment amounts, due dates, and supporting documentation. Submit payment batches/lists to the Head of Finance for approval (no bank signing required). Maintain and secure vendor master data, including: IBAN verification Vendor whitelist updates Fraud‑prevention checks Treasury Maintain a rolling 12‑week cash flow forecast. Monitor daily cash movements and update cash positions. Assist with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and share weekly cash reports for the Head of Finance/CFO. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable and/or Treasury. Odoo experience is mandatory. Strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT rules. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work autonomously with high standards of integrity. Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Analytical mindset and proactive approach to cash management.
