QA Manager
Location: Ghent, Belgium (On-site / Hybrid possible)
Overview
For an innovative biotech in Ghent, Belgium, I am recruiting a QA manager. You will be responsible for GMP compliance and quality oversight for operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and further develop the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with GMP requirements
* Manage and oversee deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality events
* Support and host internal, client, and regulatory audits and inspections
* Ensure compliance with EU GMP and regulatory guidelines
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams
* Support batch record review and product release processes where required
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality organization
Non-negotiable Requirements:
* 3 - 5 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Manager within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment
* Experience with deviation management, CAPA & change control
* Experience supporting audits and inspections
* Good understanding of EU GMP guidelines
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent English required
Nice to Have
* Experience within sterile manufacturing, biologics, or advanced therapies
* Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
