We are looking for a Commercial Strategy Business Consultant who bridges business and technology, supporting strategic initiatives within the commercial department. This role combines business consulting with a strong focus on channel strategy, sales methodologies, technologies, and business cases. The consultant will manage projects, intake roadmaps, and contribute to the strategic vision of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Guide sales and marketing teams through strategic transformations
* Develop and refine commercial visions and strategies
* Analyse and design innovative solutions across departments
* Focus on channel strategy and introduce new sales methodologies
* Build business cases to support strategic decisions
* Lead project management efforts, including roadmap intake and execution
* Define acceptance criteria and lead change management and adoption
* Improve lead-to-order processes and provide expert advice
* Monitor transformation progress and report on the adoption of metrics
* Ability to translate between sales and technical domains and stakeholders
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Degree: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience
* Experience: 5–7 years in a commercial or technical environment
Must have skills:
* Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
* Affinity with sales and marketing
* Knowledge of business processes, IT, and/or network environments
* Experience with business cases and process modelling
* Fluent in Dutch and English
* Team player, resilient, customer-focused, proactive, persuasive
* Hands-on mentality
Nice to haves:
* Affinity with the telecom sector
* Experience in agile environments
* Salesforce and Jira skills
* Proficiency in French is a nice-to-have.
