Are you passionate about sustainability and looking to gain hands-on experience in the world of impact investing? Join our Impact Equity team at Degroof Petercam, where we invest in companies that provide concrete solutions to environmental and social challenges.
As an intern, you'll work closely with a portfolio manager to help manage an Article 9 (SFDR) equity fund and a sustainable mandate. This is a unique opportunity to dive into the heart of sustainable finance—working on real investments, contributing to meaningful research, and learning from experienced professionals in the field.

Your position
You'll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with daily exposure to both ESG and financial topics. You'll report directly to the Impact Fund Manager and occasionally support cross-functional projects involving ESG strategy and marketing.
ESG Research and Analysis:
* Conduct thorough impact assessments of potential and existing investments.
* Assist in engagement activities with investees.
Financial Analysis:
* Perform fundamental equity analyses of companies within the investment universe.
* Assist in financial modelling and valuation assessments.
Investment Idea Generation:
* Identify and propose new investment opportunities aligned with the fund's impact objectives.
* Analyse market trends to support strategic investment decisions.
Reporting and Marketing:
* Create and update marketing materials highlighting the fund's impact and performance.
* Develop content for investor communications and reports.
Your profile
Must-Have Hard Skills
* Master's degree in progress or completed (Finance, Economics, Business, Sustainable Development or related field).
* Strong analytical skills and basic knowledge of equity investing and accounting.
* Familiarity with ESG/sustainability themes and global sustainability challenges.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Bloomberg and ESG databases is a plus.
* Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus.
