Job Title: Senior Manager, HCC Risk Management & Tool Business Process Owner (BPO)
Location: Diegem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium
The Senior Manager, HCC Risk Management & Tool Business Process Owner (BPO) is a global, cross‑functional leader within the Health Care Compliance (HCC) organization responsible for end‑to‑end oversight of HCC risk‑management processes and the associated compliance tools that operate worldwide. The role reports to the Director of Data Management & Technology Operations and collaborates closely with the Data Enablement & Analytics teams and the HCC Technology Product Owner (TPO) to translate business requirements into technical solutions that support a proactive, data‑driven compliance program.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the global Business Process Owner for HCC risk‑management and compliance enablement processes, including risk assessment & issue management (RAMI), Fair Market Value (FMV) determination tools, and Cross‑Border Interactions (CBI) Tool.
* Define and maintain global process standards, policies, and business rules to ensure consistent, compliant execution across all regions and sectors in alignment with the HCC program’s framework and regulatory requirements.
* Continuously evaluate, simplify, and improve workflows to enhance efficiency, user experience, and compliance effectiveness.
* Partner with Data Enablement & Analytics teams to design tools and data models that support scalable reporting, advanced analytics, and timely insights for the HCC program.
* Lead the intake and translation of business needs into detailed requirements (epics, user stories, functional specifications) and work closely with the HCC Technology Product Owner and IT to ensure technical design and delivery meet those needs.
* Drive stakeholder communications and change‑management activities to promote awareness, training, and adoption of tool enhancements, thereby maximizing business value and compliance impact.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Risk, Project Management, or Ethics‑related) preferred.
* Minimum 8+ years of experience improving or managing compliance business processes and implementing enterprise tools/systems that enforce controls and enable efficient operations.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments (compliance, IT, legal, business units) and to drive process improvements and technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
* Proven ability to influence and engage senior leaders and end‑users, communicate complex compliance concepts clearly, and drive alignment without direct authority.
* Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Experience in Information Technology, Healthcare Compliance, Finance Regulatory, or Quality industry preferred.
* Familiarity with information management systems and applications; process excellence training and certification or Project Management certification preferred.
* Fluency in English required; travel up to 20%.
