Currently we’re looking for a Government Compliance Engineer that would join our team in Luxembourg. The position is key with cross-functional responsibilities within GIC*L, possessing the expertise in major regulations, being the main contact with authorities and Goodyear representative in ETRTO. An engineering degree is required to fulfil below key responsibilities:
* Be the internal regulation (ECE/GSO/SASO/VECTO+AP/LA regulations) Go-To person for EMEA R&D, Quality, and business teams;
* Understanding upcoming regulation changes and impacts on GY global products/processes/tools, driving the implementation and validation of changes in GC process and tools;
* Build and maintain professional relationship with homologation authorities ( SNCH), to achieve agreements in homologation activities;
* Owner & expert in the eCERT and GC homologation tools, interfacing with other GY IT systems, close collaboration with GC team across the globe, TP0 community, IT development team for new requirements/functionalities implementation.
To join our team you will need:
Education:
A bachelors degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, or any other related field is required. A masters degree would be preffered.
Any further specialization in regulation, homologation or type approval work will be considered as an asset. Languages:
Fluent English written and verbal communication skills;
Any other language skill would be an asset. Experience:
5 year+ Engineer experience in international environment, preferably in the Tyre and Rubber Industry or experience in automotive industry, product homologation Skills & Qualifications:
* Good knowledge in MS Office, Outlook, SAP, advanced Excel is an asset
* Precise and attention to details in daily work
* Able to manage multi tasks with different natures, respect deadlines with good time management skills
* Good at communication and inter-personal skills
* Open mind and flexible, stress resistant
* Team player, with high autonomy and proactive attitude to drive tasks towards goal
* Ready to work with global team
* Travel on ad-hoc basis
