We're looking for an experienced bioinformatics expert to drive the progression of therapeutic programs by integrating, analyzing, and interpreting complex patient‑ and systems‑level molecular data. This role plays a key part in shaping research strategy across all stages of drug discovery and clinical development. This is a long term consultancy position for which we can accommodate freelance or employee status.
What You'll Do
* Lead omics‑driven insights for target identification, validation, biomarker discovery, and patient stratification.
* Analyze multi‑omics datasets to uncover disease mechanisms and guide scientific decision‑making.
* Develop and apply cutting‑edge computational methods, tools, and technologies to advance our therapeutic pipeline.
* Communicate analytical findings clearly to cross‑functional teams and influence project direction globally.

What You Bring
* PhD in a relevant field plus 5–10 years of industry experience
* Deep expertise in statistics, data mining, and visualization of biological datasets
* Strong experience with multi‑omics data (gene expression, SNPs, metabolomics, epigenetics, etc.)
* Proficiency in functional interpretation methods (pathway enrichment, module detection, causal reasoning)
* Familiarity with eQTL and advanced machine learning approaches
* Advanced computational skills (HPC, cloud platforms, Python, R)
* Ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights for non‑experts
* Solid understanding of disease biology to contextualize results
