Your Role
As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact solutions, particularly within the Food & Beverage industry. You’ll be responsible for process design, multidisciplinary coordination, and on-site commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and performance across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Review project deliverables to define process requirements
* Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment layouts
* Confirm design requirements with clients and stakeholders
* Create 2D/3D designs for piping systems and process equipment using hygienic design principles
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Perform process simulations and troubleshoot issues
* Create specifications for piping, insulation, instruments, and equipment
* Produce tender/RFQ documents and validate Material Take Offs (MTOs)
* Liaise with suppliers on specifications, design, and delivery
* Prepare and complete project plans
* Propose design improvements and perform quality assurance
* Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders
* Conduct risk assessments including FMEA, HAZOP, and LOPA
* Develop Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
* Oversee on-site commissioning including mechanical completion, punch listing, cold/hot commissioning, PAT, and final handover
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Process Engineering (Food & Beverage industry preferred)
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
* Excellent English communication skills
* Proficiency in generating PFDs, P&IDs, and performing process calculations
* Strong modeling skills for plant layout and mechanical design
* Experience in multidisciplinary coordination (civil, mechanical, electrical, automation, production)
* Team-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
* Advanced time management capabilities
* Skilled in 2D and 3D CAD systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus
* Willingness to travel, relocate, and participate in business trips
