Overview Pulso is a MedTech startup building vascular in-vitro simulators that recreate real cardiovascular conditions — so the people advancing the field can train, test, and prove new solutions in a smarter way.
This is for clinicians, yes — but also for the companies developing next-gen vascular devices. Before a device reaches patients, those teams need reliable ways to iterate, validate performance, and build confidence with physicians. We give them a platform to do that faster, more realistically, and more repeatably, without relying entirely on animal or human models.
Role Description As Pulso’s Lead Engineer, you’ll be the technical backbone of the company — transforming ideas into high-quality simulators that redefine cardiovascular training. Working directly with the CEO, you’ll turn vision into tangible results, ensuring Pulso’s solutions are reliable, elegant, and scalable. You’ll master mechanical and electromechanical design, 3D modeling, and prototype assembly. You’ll manage technical partners and suppliers, bring structure to engineering processes, and ensure quality across projects.
Beyond engineering excellence, we’re looking for someone who’s curious about how technology meets business — someone eager to understand customer needs, challenge our assumptions, and help structure Pulso’s growth. You’ll have the opportunity to join congresses and events, meet clinical partners, and see your work in action.
Profile Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in design, prototyping, or MedTech product development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with prototyping, materials, and small-scale manufacturing.
Curious about the business side of innovation and comfortable interacting with clients or clinicians.
Autonomous, proactive, and eager to grow with a young, purpose-driven company.
Working Environment At Pulso, you’ll work in a true early-stage startup environment, where things move fast and everyone wears multiple hats. Roles aren’t rigid, and your impact is visible every day — from hands-on technical work to strategic discussions. You’ll switch between execution and problem-solving, autonomy and collaboration, structure and creativity. If you enjoy ownership, learning on the fly, and helping shape not just a product but a company, this is the kind of environment where your work truly matters
