Ph3Job Description /h3 pOur client, active in the defense sector, is looking for a Lead System Engineer Consultant to support the development and delivery of complex defense and security systems. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pAs a Lead System Engineer Consultant, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering activities across complex, mission-critical systems. You will act as the technical focal point between the customer, project management, and engineering teams, ensuring that the proposed system solutions meet operational, performance, quality, and contractual requirements throughout the full development lifecycle. You will also manage and coordinate an engineering team of approximately 10 to 15 engineers, promoting technical excellence, collaboration, and efficient project execution. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and coordinate a team of 10 to 15 system, software, hardware, and integration engineers. /li liDefine and maintain system architecture, requirements, and technical baselines. /li liManage system engineering activities throughout the full V-cycle development process. /li liTranslate customer and operational needs into technical requirements and system specifications. /li liEnsure requirements traceability, consistency, and verification readiness. /li liCoordinate interfaces between internal engineering disciplines and external stakeholders. /li liConduct technical reviews, design reviews, and engineering decision boards. /li liIdentify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and opportunities. /li liSupport project planning, resource allocation, and workload prioritization. /li liEnsure compliance with defense, safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards. /li liContribute to proposal preparation, feasibility studies, and technical roadmaps. /li liSupport integration, validation, qualification, and customer acceptance activities. /li liReport technical progress, issues, and recommendations to project management and customer representatives. /li liMentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies and standards. /li liExperience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or equivalent. /li liFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering concepts. /li liExperience in defense, aerospace, transportation, or another safety‑critical industry. /li liGood understanding of software, hardware, integration, verification, and validation activities. /li liStrong technical leadership and risk management capabilities. /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills. /li liAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams in an international environment. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline. /li liINCOSE certification is considered an asset. /li liExperience with complex mission‑critical systems. /li liKnowledge of configuration management and systems integration processes. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liAttractive salary package. /li liAdditional legal days off. /li liMobility package (transport or car). /li liDKV insurance. /li liGroup insurance. /li liMeal vouchers. /li liEco vouchers. /li liTraining opportunities. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
