Junior Actuary
Our client is a well-established European insurance firm and a subsidiary of one of Europe’s largest insurance and reinsurance groups.
They are currently seeking a Junior Actuary (1-2 years experience) to join their actuarial valuations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform quarterly and annual actuarial valuations and costings for insurance and pension portfolios
* Support the production of regulatory and internal reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Work extensively with PROPHET to run and maintain actuarial models
* Take over and manage day-to-day modelling and production tasks from existing team members
* Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of long-term liabilities in a run-off context
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, risk, and actuarial functions
Requirements
* 1–2 years of actuarial experience (entry-level profiles with relevant internships may be considered)
* Strong hands-on experience with PROPHET Actuarial Software (mandatory)
* Solid understanding of actuarial valuation processes and insurance products
* Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a production-focused environment with recurring deadlines
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment
