Project Leader / Solution Designer – Banking Operations

About the role
Projective Talent is looking for experienced Project Leaders / Solution Designers to support a large-scale digital transformation within the financial sector.
In this role, you will bridge business and technology — translating complex customer and business needs into functional, secure, and scalable solutions. You'll lead end-to-end delivery across analysis, design, build, and testing, ensuring that every project milestone is met with precision and quality.
Your key responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs that respect architecture, compliance, and security standards.
* Coordinate the full project lifecycle from analysis and build to testing and deployment.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure alignment.
* Monitor scope, planning, and quality while anticipating risks or roadblocks.
* Support systems in production and guide teams during incidents when needed.
Your profile
* at least 5 years of relevant experience in IT project management or solution design.
* Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
* Experience in payments or customer data management is an asset.
* Technical knowledge of mainframe systems (Cobol, JCL, DB2, MQ) is a plus.
* Cloud or hybrid architecture experience (Azure) is a welcome advantage.
* Fluent in English, good command of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
