Job Description
We are looking for an Operational Buyer to join our growing purchasing team at stow. As Operational Buyer you will work with people across our organization committed to bring growth to stow, solve issues and actively look for opportunities to improve. Your tasks:
1. Follow up stock levels of raw materials and material requirements for production, and call off materials in time
2. Monitor material flows, verify applicable customs and VAT procedures, and set up purchases correctly.
3. Order traded goods in line with category strategies, supplier selection and pricing outlined centrally
4. Pull forward or push back purchase orders when planning is revised
5. Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and follow up delivery of orders according to requested delivery date
6. Manage daily relationship between the factory and its suppliers
7. Provide input on supplier performance (delivery, quality, ) to central category managers for regular supplier evaluation
8. Solve potential invoice blocks due to quantity or price discrepancies
Qualifications
9. You have a Bachelors or Masters Degree
10. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
11. You are fluent in Dutch, French & English
12. You are figures/data driven
13. You have the ability to act in a fast-moving environment
14. You have a strong will to contribute to process improvement
15. Your level in Excel is intermediate or expert
16. You have a strong affinity with IT and digital applications. SAP experience is a big plus
