Responsabilities
Core Tasks:
1. In cooperation with the portfolio managers, the CPM:
- Contributes to the creation of effective and high-quality marketing material and monitors and keeps the available documentation up-to-date.
- Supports the fund managers and analysts in preparing and updating client presentations, periodic reports, and performance comments.
- Manages communication and sales support related to the investment fund range.
2. He/She:
- Liaises with fund managers, client relationship managers, and marketing teams.
- Acts as the internal point of contact for all inquiries relating to Fundamental Equity Investment strategies.
- Provides the Candriam sales team with in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of the fund range, investment processes, performance, peer comparisons, etc.
- Works closely with other members of the CPM Equity team and other Candriam departments involved in fund and portfolio management (risk, performance attribution, financial engineering, legal, etc.).
3. He/She has the potential to:
- Further develop as an interface with clients.
- Play an active role in representing the department’s expertise by giving presentations and contributing to information and training sessions.
Profile
The (Junior) Client Portfolio Manager Fundamental Equity:
-Has a multidisciplinary profile (degree in science, finance, or journalism).
-Demonstrates a deep interest in financial markets and investment management. A first experience in a financial business environment is an advantage.
-Native French and possesses excellent knowledge of both Dutch and English (will be a plus).
-Is a concise and effective writer.
-Masters Office 365 (particularly PowerPoint and Excel) and is capable of creating impactful presentations. Knowledge of Python can be an attractive advantage
-Has an open and commercial mindset.
-Is a team player with a high level of stress tolerance, able to work independently on assignments.
