PMO Operational Project:

In Herstal, you will join more than 250 colleagues specialized in the design, development, production and supply of weapon systems and ammunitions for use by customers in the Defense (MoD), Aerospace (OEM) and Land (OEM) sectors. With the Guided Rocket in the portfolio additional market’s segments are now addressed like Ground-to-Ground applications or Counter-UAS.

Your mission

As Project Management Officer you are familiar with Bid or Project Management process (scheduling, cost estimate, financial monitoring & control, risk analysis, etc). You will manage processes and procedures and propose adjustment if necessary in order to reach the satisfaction of the different internal stakeholders and to meet strategic business objectives. You will coordinate with the various departments (Bids & projects, Sales & Marketing, Finances and Engineering) to consolidate data regarding both bids and on-going projects.

Main Responsibilities:

As PMO, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the actions of the Project Management Office covering different domain(s) of Bid / Project Management.

You will be in charge of:

Project Coordination

1. Assist project manager(s) in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
2. Support scheduling and resource allocation for projects
3. Participating as needed to progress meetings and bid and project reviews in order to capture relevant information
4. Producing and analyzing data mainly related to revenues, milestones, cashflow, actuals and estimated at completion
5. Contribute to the adjustment of processes, instructions, and guidelines to the context of the offer or project based on lessons learnt

Documentation and Knowledge Management

6. Support project manager over project documentation
7. Ensure project documentation is completed, stored, and easily accessible
8. Facilitate knowledge transfer and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Tool Management

9. Maintain and support the use of PMO tools

Profile:

10. You hold a bachelor of economics, engineering or laws.
11. You have already acquired an experience as PMO or (W)PM position in an international and technically demanding environment.
12. You are analytical, autonomous and rigorous with an ability linked to innovation.
13. You are able to merge data in order to present and explain them in a synthetic manner.
14. You have strong oral and written communication skills.
15. You have a good knowledge of MS Suite (for e.g.: Excel) and one of the following is considered as an asset: Microsoft Project, PowerBI, and/or Sharepoint, background in PPM tools.
16. You are fluent in both French and English (read, written and spoken).
17. The position is based full-time in Herstal/Loncin, Belgium.
