Compliance or Advocacy Specialist

A global high‐tech company at the forefront of the semiconductor equipment industry is looking for a Compliance or Advocacy Specialist to join its European QHSE team.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of product safety, environmental regulation, and global technology, supporting either:
* Product compliance for European, UK and Israeli markets, or
* Regulatory advocacy, representing industry interests in regulatory discussions and industry associations.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and assess product safety and environmental regulations (e.g. Machinery, EMC, REACH, CLP, WEEE, UK legislation)
* Evaluate regulatory risks and business impact
* Prepare clear technical reports and recommendations
* Collaborate with global product teams and internal stakeholders
* Support regulatory engagement, consultations, and industry working groups (advocacy focus)
What We're Looking For
* University degree (PhD advantageous)
* Experience in compliance, regulated environments, or risk management
* Strong ability to understand and explain legislation and standards
* Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
* Fluent English (additional European language or Japanese a plus)
