Machine Learning Engineer
Join the dataroots team, a Talan company, and help design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models that transform business processes across a variety of industries. You’ll work closely with Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Data Strategists to deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions for our clients. What you’ll do
Design, implement, and iterate machine‑learning models that deliver robust, data‑driven solutions. Experiment with diverse algorithmic approaches and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine models. Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the team. Stay current with industry developments and apply new techniques to client projects. Qualifications
A deep passion for Machine Learning and a
Master’s or PhD
in a quantitative discipline. Minimum of
2 years of experience in machine learning and big data
. Expertise in machine learning and deep learning, with both theoretical and practical grasp. Proficiency in
Python & SQL
is required; knowledge of R is an advantage. Experience with
deploying machine‑learning models
and familiarity with
MLOps
practices. At least one experience with
AWS, Azure or GCP
and a solid understanding of cloud engineering in ML. Experience with ML
versioning
tooling. Enthusiasm for working with large datasets and a pragmatic problem‑solving mindset. Strong
communication skills
and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients. Fluency in
English
and
Dutch
