Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultantwith a strong specialization in Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of supply chain processes, hands-on experience with full-cycle D365 SCM implementations, and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders to deliver robust, business-aligned solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and participate in end-to-end Dynamics 365 SCM implementations, from requirement gathering through to go-live and post-implementation support.
* Facilitate and configure core SCM modules, including:
o Inventory Management
o Warehouse Management
o Procurement and Sourcing
o Sales and Marketing
o Production Control
o Master Planning
o Product Information Management
o Advanced Warehouse
* Prepare and deliver system walkthroughs and Conference Room Pilot (CRP)sessions to showcase Dynamics 365 capabilities aligned with customer requirements.
* Conduct business process discovery, map client processes, and convert requirements into functional specifications and design documents.
* Develop user documentation including training materials and user manuals, and provide both pre-go-live and post-go-live support.
* Advise clients on leveraging standard D365 SCM capabilities to minimize customizations through creative configuration.
* Prepare and validate test cases for system validation in collaboration with QA teams.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, supporting their functional development.
* Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring expectations are aligned and met or exceeded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Support integration design and data migration related to SCM processes and third-party applications.
* Work in an Onsite-Offshore Global Delivery Model, with flexibility to travel or work from client locations when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O), specifically focused on Supply Chain Management.
* Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 SCM implementations.
* Strong understanding of core supply chain processes: demand forecasting, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and distribution.
* Hands-on expertise in functional configuration, solution documentation, testing, and training.
* Ability to convert complex business processes into workable Dynamics 365 solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and client engagementskills.
* Strong written and verbal communication, with effective stakeholder management capabilities.
