Key Responsibilities

This senior leadership position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including:

1. Managing and leading all Customer Service and Supply Chain Integration teams for the Supply Chain division.
2. Ensuring seamless daily relationships with customers.
3. Delivering exceptional service quality, measured through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4. Collaborating with the Sales team and Key Account Managers to manage and discuss KPIs against customers.
5. Developing and implementing action plans with key customers in close collaboration with Key Account Managers and Operations teams.
6. Ensuring flawless execution of new product flows and services to and from customers.
7. Creating an annual action plan for the department aligned with the company's strategy and customer needs.
8. Working closely with internal teams, including Sales, Key Account, Operations, Customs, Business, and Data Analysts.
9. Fostering strong relationships, create partnerships, build trust, share ideas, and achieve results.
10. Acting as an escalation point for Key Account Managers and customers.
11. Maintaining a proactive approach to minimize escalations and improve customer delivery.
12. Measuring customer satisfaction on specific topics quarterly with other teams.
13. Verifying outgoing invoices via monthly spot checks against contractual agreements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

14. A Master's degree in economics, operations/supply chain, or sales/marketing (or equivalent through experience).
15. A minimum of 10 years of work experience, preferably in a logistics environment.
16. The ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with a main office in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
17. Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English.
18. Strong people management and coaching abilities, inspiring and motivating your team.
19. Excellent empathy and initiative-taking skills, with a focus on good communication and cooperation.
20. A strong customer focus and understanding of commercial needs.
21. Analytical strength and decisiveness.
22. Calmness under pressure and problem-solving thinking and action.
