We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer – Machining to join our team in Zaventem, Belgium (occasional assignments at production sites may apply).
You will be responsible for developing and implementing machining processes for new projects and optimizing existing operations, ensuring Quality, Cost, and Schedule objectives are met.
Participate in FMEA / APQP sessions and propose technical improvements and design adjustments to facilitate manufacturing and reduce costs.
support operators during first article manufacturing; monitor quality and dimensional performance; Collaborate with the Tooling Design team to optimize fixtures and tools.
Provide daily technical support to production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing deployment within machining activities.
Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years in machining methods or industrialization, preferably in aerospace or automotive industries.
CNC programming principles (Siemens language sufficient).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
