🎯 Your Role
As Stack Design Manager, you lead the design, development, and industrialization of electrolyzer stacks within the Product Development division.
You act as the technical authority, ensuring design quality, product consistency, roadmap alignment, and team performance.
You play a key role in structuring the department, maturing the product portfolio, and securing competitiveness in global markets.
📌 Your Key Responsibilities
🔧 1. Technical leadership & expertise
6. Perform, review and validate mechanical, thermal and CFD calculations
7. Define detailed functional specifications for stack operation
8. Collaborate with CAD designers to produce and validate detailed 2D/3D designs
9. Identify and develop innovative materials, design concepts, and technical solutions
10. Apply Design-to-Cost principles in all development steps
11. Prepare technical specifications for procurement and manufacturing
12. Validate suppliers through inspections and conformity assessments
13. Support and deploy validation tests (mechanical, materials, functional tests)
🏭 2. Product industrialization
14. Ensure product industrialization feasibility throughout development
15. Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Industrialization teams
16. Secure design robustness and global manufacturability (EU, Asia, global sites)
🚀 3. Product roadmap
17. Propose design evolutions aligned with market expectations, performance and industrial constraints
18. Contribute to the roadmap of two strategic stacks:
19. High-performance EU stack
20. Global standardized product
🧩 4. Design Reviews governance
21. Organize and lead cross-functional Design Reviews
22. Establish design evolution and validation processes
23. Ensure traceability, compliance and continuous improvement

👤 Your Profile
Experience & technical skills:
31. Mechanical engineer (materials, thermal sciences, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics)
32. 5+ years as a Team Lead in a Design Office, or 10+ years as a senior design expert
33. Proven experience in:
34. Mechanical design & industrialization
35. Pressure equipment
36. FEM/CFD calculations
37. Machining, surface treatment, mechanical assembly
38. R&D → industrialization cycles
39. Quality, conformity, certification, risk analysis
40. Strong knowledge of ASME / EN / ISO standards
41. Fluent in English; French is a strong asset
