Overview
As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, optimization, and security of a highly complex enterprise network environment.
You will collaborate closely with network engineers, architects, and external partners to ensure stability, performance, and security across the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyzing and resolving complex network incidents
* Designing and implementing new technologies and improvements
* Working closely with IT Operations and architecture teams
* Managing incidents and changes via ServiceNow (SNOW)
* Contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives
Required Skills
* Minimum 10 years of experience in Cisco network administration
* Strong expertise in enterprise datacenter networking (North/South & east/west)
* Solid experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Meraki MX)
* Good knowledge of Software Defined Networking (ACI, NSX-T)
* Familiarity with IoT environments
* Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Cacti, Instana
Must-Have Experience
* 8-10+ years in large-scale enterprise network environments
* Proven firewall and network segmentation experience
* Fluent in Dutch or French + professional English
