LolaLiza is a Belgian fashion brand with more than 85 stores across Belgium, Luxembourg and France. To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer.
You will be part of the HR team and, in this role, report directly to the HR Director. Together with two colleagues, you are responsible for managing payroll from A to Z, while working as a team on the continuous optimisation of our payroll and administrative HR processes.
You will be based at our head office in Brussels, where you will have daily contact with the HR Business Partners and HR Officer.
As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be jointly responsible for the following tasks:
You manage the full Belgian payroll process in collaboration with an accredited social secretariat (Partena):
Managing master data in the payroll system
Drafting and following up employment contracts and other social documents
Monthly payroll processing and reporting
You manage payroll for France and Luxembourg in collaboration with a local social secretariat
You review time registration data and manage typical counters such as leave balances
You act as the direct point of contact for all employees (blue-collar workers, head office, stores, management, etc.) regarding payroll or social legislation questions, both by email and phone
You closely follow social legislation updates and sector-related information and brief management and the executive team
You play a key role in preparing and monitoring HR reporting (HR dashboards, payroll cost reporting, reporting for social consultation, etc.)
You proactively propose improvements and work with your colleagues on HR process optimisation
You ensure accurate follow-up of all administrative aspects related to onboarding and offboarding
You maintain regular contact with store employees to stay closely connected to operational realities
Your profile:
You have at least 6 years of end-to-end experience in Belgian payroll
You have a thorough knowledge of Belgian payroll-related legislation and preferably experience with joint committees (200, 201, 311, 226 and
You are eager to follow training courses and actively invest in continuous learning within your field
You do not need to be perfectly bilingual (Dutch/French), but you can easily hold a conversation in both languages. In at least one of the two languages, you have strong expertise in the correct use of professional payroll terminology
You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and enjoy interacting with blue-collar workers, white-collar employees and managers. You are able to explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way
You have a good working knowledge of Excel
You are stress-resistant and highly discreet
You are open-minded and a true team player
You strive to work accurately and efficiently, without getting lost in unnecessary details
