Context
A major organization is seeking an experienced ICT Asset Management Expert to strengthen and evolve its asset management governance within a complex, decentralized environment.
The mission focuses on structuring, standardizing, and optimizing asset lifecycle management processes, ensuring high data quality, performance tracking, and alignment with organizational strategy.
Main Objectives
* Strengthen and improve the current asset management governance framework
* Define and implement KPIs and performance metrics (including resilience & asset availability)
* Standardize and optimize asset lifecycle processes
* Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting across the organization
* Support organizational change and adoption
Key Responsibilities
1. Governance & Process Design
* Improve and implement asset management governance frameworks
* Define processes covering asset lifecycle, inventory, maintenance, and data management
* Propose and structure a Master Data Cell (scope, roles, responsibilities)
2. Performance Management & KPIs
* Define and implement KPIs and process metrics
* Set up process performance monitoring and reporting
* Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
3. Documentation & Standardization
* Document processes, workflows, roles, and tools in alignment with ICT strategy
* Develop and maintain asset lifecycle documentation (AS-IS and TO-BE)
* Ensure consistency and standardization across the organization
4. Change Management & Adoption
* Support organizational change through stakeholder engagement and key users
* Ensure transversal adoption of processes across business and IT teams
* Facilitate workshops and drive alignment between stakeholders
5. Data Governance & Workflow Optimization
* Implement workflows ensuring data accuracy, lifecycle tracking, and historization
* Drive initiatives such as data cleaning and process automation
* Ensure the overall quality, performance, and compliance of the asset management process
6. Reporting & Communication
* Set up and maintain process reporting frameworks
* Communicate performance insights to stakeholders
* Contribute to governance meetings and cross-functional coordination
7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Propose pragmatic improvements to enhance process efficiency and robustness
* Perform ongoing technology watch on asset management practices and tools
Key Deliverables
* Asset Lifecycle documentation (AS-IS and TO-BE)
* Defined and implemented KPIs & performance tracking model
* Setup and operationalization of a Master Data Cell
* Process governance framework and documentation
* Reporting dashboards and analytical insights
* E-learning materials supporting adoption
Technical / Functional Skills
* 10+ years of experience (expert level)
* Minimum 5 years in asset management (IT or physical assets)
* Proven experience in: Governance setup in decentralized environments, Process design and optimization, Asset lifecycle management (including cost, workforce, stock interactions)
* Experience with SAP PM or similar asset management tools
* Strong knowledge of asset management best practices (ISO 5500x or equivalent)
* Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders (IT, business, operations)
Methodologies (Nice to Have)
* Process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis)
* Change management frameworks
* Experience in transformation programs
* Certifications such as ITIL, BPM, Project Management
Languages
* Fluent in French or Dutch (mandatory)
