About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional service to our guests. The successful candidate will possess outstanding hospitality, communication, and organizational skills, as well as effective decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owning the entire guest experience related to cleanness and stateroom service, ensuring a seamless execution of premium service that is both exceptional and memorable.
* Leading a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout assigned areas.
* Ensuring compliance with public health standards and implementing effective cleaning procedures.
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
* Collaborating with department heads and crewmembers to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
Requirements:
* Five to seven years of housekeeping managerial experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise line (shipboard experience preferred).
* Preferred bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent.
* Extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety-related procedures.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated aptitude for financial aspects, including expense reduction through cost control.
