We're looking for an experienced consultant to join our client's dynamic team during a transitional period. This opportunity involves engaging in specialized procurement activities, focusing on enhancing structure, support, and optimization across various categories and suppliers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of procurement operations and promoting a professional atmosphere within the department.
Responsibilities
* Ensure procurement continuity during the absence of team members.
* Establish clear structures and documentation for procurement processes.
* Support compliance initiatives and engage with governance frameworks.
* Assist in developing procurement reporting systems and KPIs.
* Oversee and execute procurement projects for diverse categories and suppliers.
* Collaborate with internal teams in supplier selection, contract negotiations, and management.
* Facilitate RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs as necessary while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
* Develop practical procedures, templates, and checklists to guide procurement operations.
* Act as a liaison for internal clients, translating needs into market-oriented solutions.
* Engage in professional communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Support the establishment of procurement reporting and KPI definitions.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
* Extensive experience as a Senior Buyer or interim procurement consultant.
* Demonstrable expertise in both operational and tactical procurement.
* Strong ability to introduce structure and develop processes and documentation.
* Experience within compliance environments, with familiarity in areas like NIS2, ISO, audits, and governance being a plus.
* Proven track record in reporting and KPI development within procurement.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and ready for immediate deployment.
* Exceptional skills in stakeholder and supplier management.
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
