Job Description:
* We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Belgium.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for approximately 500 employees, including all payments, deductions, and statutory obligations.
* You will also be responsible for reconciling payroll data, reviewing provider output, and managing payroll-related queries through our People Portal.
* In addition, you will collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide accurate payroll reports and GL outputs, and assist with benefits administration, provider communications, and maintaining internal payroll and benefits documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payroll for approximately 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Reconcile payroll data and review provider output to ensure correct processing of starters, leavers, absences, and variable inputs.
* Manage payroll-related queries through our People Portal, providing timely and value-aligned responses.
* Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide accurate payroll reports and GL outputs.
* Assist with benefits administration, provider communications, and maintaining internal payroll and benefits documentation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Deep knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation.
* Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and high PC literacy.
* Able to accurately process, balance, and reconcile payrolls, with a focus on data accuracy and attention to detail.
* Solid analytical, numeracy, and decision-making skills, paired with strong time management and organisational capabilities.
* Experience working with payroll providers, managing compliance, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
