Service description:
Within the product DWP Communication, we are seeking a Business and functional Analyst to support the review and migration of websites (OneCMS initiative). The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, refining and documenting business-, functional and non-functional requirements to ensure a smooth transition of websites to the new platform.
Aside from the analysis for the migration of the websites, some smaller parallel tasks within the Product’s scope might also be requested, such as the requirement engineering for new solutions, solutions assessments, etc.
This role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Elicit, analyze, communicate and validate Requirements
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and further refine business objectives and user needs related to their website. Work together with an UX designer to engineer the stakeholder requirements towards solution requirements. You will be responsible to further detail the solution requirements towards product backlog items.
- Document requirements for future website functionalities, content structures, and integrations.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement during migration.
- Create clear and comprehensive requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain traceability between business-, functional and non-functional requirements and technical implementation.
- Support the development of migration plans and timelines.
Collaboration
- Work closely as a product team member with project managers, developers, UX/UI designers, testers and content teams.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate the iteration process of finding solutions that also meets business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the product team and the business and solution architects.
- Check if requirements are realistic and aligned with business goals.
Quality Assurance
- Assist in defining test cases and validating migrated websites against requirements.
- Ensure compliance with branding, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
Support Testing
- Help define test cases to ensure the migrated website works as expected.
- Verify that all requirements are met before launch.
- Perform solution requirements testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing
Training:
- Be able to give training sessions
- Assist key users and Service Desk after go-live
- Provide extra support during hypercare phase

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, preferably in website migration or digital projects.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, and SEO principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., DevOps, Confluence).
- Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required and German is nice to have.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data migration and content management systems.
- Knowledge of usability and accessibility standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
