Freelance Azure and DevOps Engineer - Long Term - Hybrid - Transformational Project
We are seeking experienced Azure DevOps Engineers to join a large-scale transformation programme focused on modernising cloud infrastructure, automating software delivery, and enabling cloud-native solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting Azure-based platforms using Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, and CI/CD best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Deploy, configure, and administer Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
- Automate operational processes and improve deployment efficiency through scripting and tooling.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions across cloud platforms.
- Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Support platform reliability, performance optimisation, and incident resolution.
- Contribute to cloud migration and application modernisation initiatives.
- Promote DevOps culture, best practices, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
