We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Analyst - Internal Control to join our team. This role will support the development and maintenance of strong internal controls, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. This is what you will do
* Support process mapping and documentation of risks and controls.
* Perform routine internal control testing and document results and evidence.
* Monitor basic control and operational risk indicators and elevate deviations when needed.
* Follow up on action plans related to control gaps, non-compliance, and audit findings.
* Maintain internal control documentation, risk matrices, and process flows.
* Assist in preparing periodic internal controls reports.
* Support internal teams with questions related to procedures, controls, and policies.
* Support internal and external audits and regulatory requests by organizing documentation and evidence.
Qualification & Skills
* Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, or similar.
* Basic knowledge of Central Bank regulations for Payment Institutions.
* Initial experience or internship in internal controls, audit, risk management, or compliance.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
* Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
* Native level of Portuguese and intermediate level in English.
