Job Description
* This is for the service center "Communication & Collaboration" which is linked to Modern/Digital Workplace.
* This senior Solution Architect should have experience with working on development and integration projects.
* client has a legacy (custom built) environment that needs to be moved to a more modern Microsoft environment.
* They have the tendency to still do some custom development but are shifting focus to integrations so both experiences are necessary.
* This architect should remain high-level and use tools and frameworks like ArchiMate, TOGAF, ... We are not looking for a technical person.
* However, a technical background (in Microsoft/Azure/Security in Apps) can always be beneficial.
* You will be working in the IT Service Center Communication & Collaboration within the internal IT organisation of client group. We are a team of 30 people in Belgium and 10 people in India and we deliver BUILD & RUN IT services towards the Domain Communication & Collaboration.
* The goal of our Domain is to offer all employees of Colruyt Group effective ways to communicate & collaborate with each other and our Service Center support them in this mission.
* Historically we had mainly on-premise Java applications but in the last few years we are in transition to M365 in the cloud, which we call our Digital Workplace for Communication and Collaboration.
* Assignment
* As Digital Workplace Solutions IT Architect you will be part of the New Digital Workplace product team and work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Architect and Scrum team to realise the Product Roadmap. The main products that are used are Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint Online, coupled with custom application development using .Net & React and hosted in Azure.
* The product & scrum team delivers the product in an agile way using Scrum methodology.
* Working on the Digital Workplace product will be your main task, but other projects of our roadmap will also be assigned to you.
1. Specific skill set:
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft in general (Teams, Sharepoint, Exchange)
* Knowledge & experience with the Azure development stack (eg App Service, Web Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, CosmosDB, SQL, Blob Storage, Graph)
* Knowledge of security standards and it’s application within the Microsoft ecosytem (EntraID, Conditional Access, Intune, Purview)
* Knowledge of agile delivery (Scrum, Azure DevOps)
* Integration architecture & experience in application architecture (in order to support our custom builds and integrations with other systems)
* Strong communication & collaboration competency – you’ll work daily with the product team and you can clearly explain complex technical concepts.
* Experience in big companies is a plus
